How it works

  1. Post and fund your job
    Verify your identity once, then pick the service, set your budget and share your location. Fund it by bank transfer or from your wallet, and we hold the money securely.
  2. Pick from qualified bids
    Verified artisans near you bid on your job. Compare their bids, profiles and ratings, then choose the one you trust.
  3. Your artisan does the job
    They can see the payment is already secured, so they show up and get to work. Chat and follow progress in the app.
  4. Hand over your completion code
    Happy with the work? Give your artisan the completion code from your app and the payment is released to them. Not happy? Keep the code and open a dispute.

Questions people ask us

Does it cost anything to post a job?

No. There's no fee to post your job. You fund the job amount itself when you post it, and we hold it securely until you hand over your completion code.

Do I need to verify my identity to post a job?

Yes. Before posting your first job, you verify your identity in the app with your BVN, NIN and a selfie. It means artisans know every job comes from a real, verified person.

How do you verify artisans?

Every artisan verifies their BVN and NIN and takes a selfie to match. Until they pass, they can't be matched to jobs or bid on them. Artisans can also verify their address to reach a higher trust tier.

How does payment work?

When you post a job, the app shows an account number and the exact amount to send. Transfer it from your own bank account so we can match it to you, or pay from your wallet. We hold the money while the work is done. When you're happy, you give your artisan your completion code, and the payment is released to them.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

Don't share your completion code. Open a dispute in the app instead. There's a ₦5,000 filing fee, and the money stays held while our team looks at what happened with you and the artisan.

I'm an artisan. When do I get paid?

When the job is done, the client gives you their completion code. Enter it in the app and the payment, less our service fee, moves into your Reliable Menders wallet. Request a withdrawal to your bank account any time. Withdrawals are reviewed and usually arrive within 1–3 business days.
